About BABCO

The ultimate goal of the co-operative is to develop agriculture, fisheries, ruminants and agro-products as a sustainable economic sector while reducing the importation of food, creating new employment opportunities and contributing to the national food security and gross domestic product (GDP) of the country.

BABCO will provide technical assistance and other professional services to its members who are farmers and agro-processors. Additionally, professionals from other related disciplines will be members of the co-operative as well to facilitate the operation of a “one stop shop” for members.
